WASHINGTON — The ongoing health care debate has triggered unusual challenges from certain members of Congress for those who vote for reforms, such as a public option, to give up their current insurance coverage and live under whatever they helped pass.

Supporters of such changes should put their money where their mouth is, U.S. Rep. John Sullivan, R-Tulsa, said.

Rep. Tom Cole, R-Moore, expanded that challenge.
