OU football: Bo Pelini's road to Nebraska's coaching position looks familiar

NORMAN — Not long ago, a downtrodden Big 12 power hired a SEC defensive coordinator fresh off a national championship to be its head coach.

That coach grew up in Youngstown , Ohio , attended a parochial high school, played safety in the Big Ten , majored in business marketing and brought in a brother to be the defensive coordinator.

So, who is this coach?
