It's all about getting a win, getting on the bus and getting out of town.
No. 13 Oklahoma State's 30-17 win over Colorado at Folsom Field wasn't stylish and it wasn't dominant, but it was a win — No. 9 for these Cowboys, a feat accomplished by only seven times in school history.
“It was kind of an ugly win,” OSU quarterback Zac Robinson said. “But as long as we got it done, that's all that matters.”
In two weeks, the Cowboys will be in pursuit of their fourth 10-win season when they host in-state rival Oklahoma at Boone Pickens Stadium.
That combination would be a first for the Cowboys — 10 wins and a Bedlam victory. In OSU's three previous 10-win seasons (1984, 1987, 1988), the Cowboys lost to OU.
Robinson said the talk in the OSU locker room hadn't yet turned to Bedlam, but it soon will.
“They'll think about it right away,” head coach Mike Gundy said. “It'll be a big week for us.”
