TapWerks lines up some great events

by Nick Trougakos Published: July 17, 2013

As usual, TapWerks Ale House is the place to be for beer events over the next two weeks and a bit. Here’s a quick rundown of what General Manager Greg Powell has on tap. (See what I did there?)

-Tonight: Newcastle Blonde Bombshell pint night. This is a special Wednesday pint night, moved up one day from the regular night.

-Thursday: Newcastle is moved up because tomorrow is the third Thursday of the month, and that means it’s TapWerks’ monthly COOP Ale Works pint night. The offering this week is a one-off sour cherry ale.

-Wednesday, July 24: Anchor Tap Takeover. Cool event here — they will feature seven Anchor beers on tap, plus a special food menu, pint glasses and swag. Anchor brewers are expected on hand to discuss the beers, which will include Liberty, Porter, Brekles, Steam, California Lager, Fort Ross Farmhouse and Summer.

-Thursday, July 25: Mustang 33 Pint Night, in celebration of Mustang’s four-year anniversary.

-Thursday, Aug. 1: Annual IPA Day celebration.

I’ll keep you up to date as the IPA Day lineup is finalized and if any other summertime events are added.
