TapWerks to officially roll out rare beer menu, new logo

If you’re free Thursday night, you’ll want to head over to TapWerks as the bar’s general manager, Greg Powell, unveils a makeover three years in the making.

TapWerks will officially unveil its new logo, a new food menu and, drumroll please, a new rare and cellared beer menu.(!)

Powell has done a good job keeping things under wraps, and even declined to share the complete cellar list with me when I asked, in order to keep the suspense in tact for Thursday’s festivities.

But this glimpse was posted on social media:

I spy at least a couple beers dating back to 2009 on that list — surely the entire list will be a thing to behold for beer fans.

You’ll also notice a splash of color on the new logo (which has technically been around since May or so, although I think I’ve only seen it in black and white up to this point).

Powell said that for Thursday’s event he would pull some kegs out of the cellar, have live music and have some one-time-only TapWerks logo pint glasses to give away.

Festivities get under way at 6 p.m.
