Tar Creek community of Cardin to close down

PICHER - The community of Cardin is expected to be the first town in the Tar Creek Superfund site to close down.

The water is expected to be shut off in about a month, said Larry Roberts, Lead-Impacted Communities Relocation Assistance Trust operations manager.
