House Concurrent Resolution 1079, by Rep. Randy Terrill, R-Moore, would create an 11-member Advisory Task Force on Oklahoma Corporate Income Tax Reform.

Terrill said the task force will seek to separate the corporate income tax code from the current state income tax laws. An elimination of the franchise tax also will be considered. The task force will report its findings by the end of this year, the resolution states.

The resolution passed the House without opposition Thursday, and will now be considered in the Senate
