Taste of Norman event raises money for high school music programs

More than 30 Norman restaurants served up food during the annual Taste of Norman event, which raises money for the city's two high school music programs.

NORMAN — More than 30 restaurants participated in the annual Taste of Norman event to raise money for music programs at the city's two high schools.

Participants sampled everything from salads and appetizers to dessert on Thursday at the University of Oklahoma's Mosier Indoor Training Facility before heading to Owen Field for the season opener between the Norman High and Norman North football teams.
