Todd Pefferman, a CPA with BKD, will offer advice on the tax implications of the 2013 tornadoes for anyone affected as part of a town hall meeting at the Moore Public Library on at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. The event also includes Oklahoma Insurance Commissioner John Doak and other agency experts. Titled “Tax Planning After a Natural Disaster,” the speech will touch on disaster relief, the different types of property loss, insurance reimbursements and the loss of tax documentation, among other related topics. “It's my pleasure to help out those affected in any way,” Pefferman said. “This all hits close to home.”
