TCU star defensive end Devonte Fields suspended for two games

TCU already faced a stiff task on opening weekend, slated to face SEC powerhouse LSU in Cowboys Stadium.

Now, that daunting matchup seems a bit tougher, with the school announcing on Wednesday that star defensive end Devonte Fields will be suspended two games for violating a team policy.

Fields started all 13 games last season as as true freshman, racking up 10 sacks, 18.5 tackles for loss and winning Big 12 defensive player of the year.
