Teacher loses Batman collection in tornado; Bat-Blog running toy drive to help

The Bat-Blog is curating a toy drive for first-grade teacher Becky Joe Evans, who teaches first grade at Plaza Towers Elementary.

The elementary school was destroyed in the May 20 tornado in Moore, OK.  The Bat-blog points out that Ms. Evans was a serious Batman collector, and shared her Batman toys with her class.

From the Bat-Blog:

 She has been collecting “Batman stuff” since she was 8 years old and had a huge collection. The cool thing was that she shared a large part of it with her Students. She displayed a lot of it on one wall of her classroom so the kids could see it. The sad news, almost all of it, like 98% of it, was taken away or destroyed by the storm.
