Teachers of year named for Edmond
Award: Portfolios to be submitted for district honor

The Edmond School District has released its site teachers of the year for the 2009-10 school year. These teachers were nominated for the honor by their peers. Associate Superintendent Brenda Lyons said the site teachers of the year will submit portfolios to the district’s teacher of the year selection committee and a district teacher of year will be announced in March. The winner then will be in the running for the state Teacher of the Year award.
