Consultant plans speech

Randall W. Rice, principal consultant of Oklahoma City-based Rice Consulting Services Inc., will be a keynote speaker at the EuroSTAR Conference for software professionals this week in The Hague, Netherlands. Rice will discuss how to address changes brought about by the energy crisis, outsourcing and new technologies. Co-author of "Surviving the Top Ten Challenges of Software Testing,” Rice has been speaking at international software testing conferences since 1990. After speaking at this conference, he will conduct a week of training classes in Rome.

Vantage opens imaging facility

Vantage Diagnostic Imaging has completed its newest diagnostic imaging facility at 3400 W Hefner. The facility offers high-field open magnetic resonance imaging, as well as positron emission tomography/computed tomography services. High-field open MRI provides high resolution scans without the claustrophobic complications commonly experienced by patients undergoing closed MRI procedures. It’s used to pinpoint the location of cancer within the body before making treatment recommendations. It also has proved to be a valuable tool in the diagnosis of patients with suspected Alzheimer’s disease and other related neurological disorders.
