Teegins remembered

By Mac Bentley Published: February 2, 2001
ESPN color analyst Jimmy Dykes worked just one basketball game with Bill Teegins, but it must have seemed like a lifetime. And when it was over, it seemed to Dykes like he'd known the affable Teegins for a lifetime.

"It was the only time I had the blessing of working with him, Dykes said Thursday of the Dec. 19 Oklahoma State game against Arkansas-Little Rock in the debut of the new Gallagher-Iba Arena.
