Teen in custody in Bethany shooting

One man is in custody and police have identified another person of interest in a shooting that injured two people Friday.

Cap. Jack Jencks of the Bethany Police Department said a 17-year-old Warr Acres male was arrested Saturday and he expected a second man to be in custody “before the night is over.” shooting that injured two people Friday.

Two men were injured after multiple shots were fired during a dispute just before 11:30 p.m. Friday at 6600 NW 31. Jencks said one of the victims had emergency surgery after the shooting. shooting that injured two people Friday.

The other was treated for injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening. He said the two suspects were at the home earlier in the night, then left and returned armed with handguns.
