Teen inspired by great-grandmother to perform 89 random acts of kindness

An Ohio woman is on a quest to perform 89 acts of kindness in memory of her 89-year-old great-grandmother who died Feb. 13.

Samantha Manns, 18, told The Chillicothe Gazette that her first act was a small impromptu gesture Feb. 19 in the drive-thru at McDonald’s. She paid for the family behind her.

“It’s awesome. It feels so good to help other people,” Manns said.
