Alec Baldwin joins TCM

Actor Alec Baldwin has signed to co-host Turner Classic Movies’ signature movie showcase, "The Essentials.”

In March, Baldwin will join host Robert Osborne to introduce "must-see” movies each week.

"The Essentials,” airing at 7 p.m. Saturdays on TCM, will begin its ninth season in March.

Probably a good idea. He's getting up there in years and most his movies are now on TCM.
