Temperatures cool down a bit in Oklahoma Thursday with rain chance

Temperatures are expected to cool down a bit Thursday in Oklahoma with a chance of rain. There is a 30 percent chance for showers in central Oklahoma after 1 p.m. Thursday, the National Weather Service reports.

The high temperature Thursday in Oklahoma City will be near 85.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Thursday : A 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Patchy fog before 7am. Mostly cloudy with a high near 85. South wind 7 to 17 mph becoming east northeast. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Tonight: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 a.m. Cloudy with a low around 66. East, southeast wind between 13 and 16 mph with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Friday: Cloudy then gradually becoming mostly sunny with a high near 85. South wind between 17 and 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Friday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 1 a.m. Partly cloudy with a low around 61. North, northwest wind 9 to 12 mph increasing to between 17 and 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.
