A relief from hot summer temperatures is ahead Monday in central Oklahoma.

The high temperature in central Oklahoma will be near 82 degrees with sunshine with a north breeze, the National Weather Service reports.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Monday: Sunny with a high near 82. North, northeast wind 6 to 15 mph with gusts as high as 21 mph.

Monday night: Mostly clear with a low around 60. North, northeast wind 6 to 11 mph becoming light north, northwest after midnight.

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 83. Northwest wind 5 to 9 mph becoming north, northeast in the afternoon.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 62. Northeast wind 3 to 8 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny with a high near 83. Calm wind becoming east, southeast 5 to 7 mph in the morning.

Wednesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 63.

Independence Day: Sunny with a high near 86.

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 67.
