Temperatures in the low 90s ahead in central Oklahoma

The high temperature will be in the low 90s Monday in Oklahoma. Temperatures will stay cooler all week.

Daily high temperatures in the low 90s are ahead this week in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

A fire weather watch has been issued by the weather service for Tuesday afternoon and evening in northwest and northern Oklahoma Monday due to high wind gusts.

A chance of rain for central Oklahoma is ahead Thursday, the weather service reports.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Monday: Sunny with a high near 91. Southeast wind 6 to 10 mph becoming south, southwest in the afternoon.

Monday night: Clear with a low around 61. South wind 9 to 11 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny with a high near 92. South wind 11 to 20 mph with gusts as high as 28 mph.

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with a low around 65. South wind 14 to 16 mph with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 93. South wind 14 to 16 mph with gusts as high as 23 mph.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 67.

Thursday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 83.

Thursday night: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Cloudy with a low around 61.

Friday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a high near 76.

Friday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 54.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 78.

Saturday night: Mostly clear with a low around 57.

Sunday: Sunny with a high near 84.
