There is a slight chance of rain Wednesday in central Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

Temperatures will be near 87 degrees.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Wednesday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny with a high near 87. Northeast wind 5 to 8 mph becoming east, southeast in the morning.

Wednesday night: Mostly cloudy with a low around 71. East, southeast wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with a high near 92. South wind 6 to 13 mph.

Thursday Night: Partly cloudy with a low around 71. South wind 8 to 11 mph.

Friday: Sunny with a high near 93. South, southwest wind 7 to 14 mph with gusts as high as 20 mph.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 72.

Saturday: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly sunny with a high near 91.

Saturday night: A 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy with a low around 72.

Sunday: Partly sunny with a high near 91.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 70.

Monday: Mostly sunny with a high near 95.
