Temperatures warm up in Oklahoma with high winds Friday

Sunny, warm and windy days are ahead in Oklahoma, the National Weather Service reports.

High winds in the afternoon, sunshine and a high near 58 are in the Valentine's Day forecast Friday. Sunday will be even warmer.

The Oklahoma City forecast is as follows:

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high near 58. North, northwest wind 7 to 12 mph increasing to 18 to 23 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 34 mph.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 33. North, northwest wind 10 to 15 mph becoming light and variable. Winds could gust as high as 21 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with a high near 62. South, southwest wind 8 to 13 mph increasing to 15 to 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 28 mph.

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 39. Southwest wind around 6 mph becoming calm.

Sunday: Mostly sunny with a high near 68. East wind 7 to 14 mph becoming south, southeast in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 46.

Washington's Birthday: Mostly sunny with a high near 64. Windy.

Monday night: Mostly clear with a low around 38.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 68.

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 47.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with a high near 71.

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with a low around 50.

Thursday: Partly sunny with a high near 65.
