Water ban in northwest Oklahoma City rescinded; water pump fixed

City crews have fixed a water pump that caused them to issue a temporary water ban to parts of northwest Oklahoma City on Saturday morning. The ban was issued for neighborhoods south of NW 10 west of Will Rogers World Airport and Oklahoma City east of Yukon, city spokeswoman Debbie Ragan said. A water pump broke at about 4:30 a.m., which knocked out the system. Crews fixed the pump at around noon, Ragan said.
