NEWPORT, R.I. (AP) — The 144th-ranked Australian who surprised Wimbledon by beating No. 1 Rafael Nadal is among the players expected on the grass courts at the International Tennis Hall of Fame Championship in Newport.

Play begins Saturday and lasts through July 13.

Nineteen-year-old Nick Kyrgios is among the draws this year. His victory over Nadal on Tuesday made him the first man in 10 years to reach the quarterfinals in his Wimbledon debut.

Kyrgios lost in the quarterfinal round Wednesday.

The Newport tournament is the only event played on grass courts outside of Europe.

In addition to play, the hall plans to hold its 2014 enshrinement ceremony on July 12. Three-time Grand Slam winner Lindsay Davenport is among those set to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.
