Authorities say Joshua Isaac Nichols is due before a Las Vegas judge Friday on vehicle theft and possession of stolen property charges. He was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of stealing a motorcycle.

Nichols has been represented in the past criminal cases by public defenders. It's not clear yet if he has a lawyer in his new case.

He moved to Las Vegas with his mother, Lana Padilla, after she divorced his father years before the April 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City.

Terry Nichols, now 53, is serving life in prison without parole for his role in the bombing that killed 168 people. Convicted bomber Timothy McVeigh was executed in 2001.
