A Texas man accused of trying to steal a stool used by the Oklahoma City Thunder dancers was arrested following a recent game, police reported Tuesday.

Troy Conrad Macbeth, 23, of Odessa, Texas, was arrested on complaints of petit larceny and public drunkenness after the Thunder win over the Dallas Mavericks on Nov. 6.

An Oklahoma City police officer working security at the basketball game was told a man had reportedly stolen one of the stools used by the Thunder Girls dancers during the game, according to the incident report.

An usher told the officer that the man was seen leaving the building with three other men. The officer and the usher followed the men to Robinson Avenue near SW 3, where a passenger van was parked, according to the report.

The officer saw a man try to hide the stool behind the van. The officer confirmed that the stool belonged to the Oklahoma City Thunder organization and arrested Macbeth, according to the report.

Macbeth was taken to the Oklahoma County jail and was later released, a jail official said Tuesday.
