Texas man dies after ATV crash near Achille

ACHILLE — A Texas man died Sunday night after an all-terrain vehicle accident southwest of Achille in Bryan County, authorities said.

Shortly after 8:45 p.m., Marvin G. Marr, 30, of Sherman was driving an ATV on a county road, about 6 miles southwest of Achille when the vehicle went off the road's east side and struck a barb wire fence, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. Marr was thrown about 5 feet, hitting a tree. The ATV hit the same tree.

Marr, who was not wearing a seat belt, died at a Texas hospital.
