Texas President Bill Powers holds onto job after regents meet

One of Mack Brown's biggest supporters kept his job on Thursday, but what does that mean for the Texas head coach?

The University of Texas Board of Regents adjourned Thursday without taking action on the job status of embattled UT President Bill Powers. Will that be enough to save Brown, who deflected questions about his job status at Thursday morning's Alamo Bowl press conference?



As the closed-door session began, Powers spoke briefly to reporters and affirmed his support for the Longhorns' football coach.
