About mid-afternoon Monday, law enforcement officers received a tip from local citizens in Colorado City that three men had entered a home. Officers surrounded the house and the neighborhood was evacuated as a safety precaution, Dean reported.
The three men from the traffic stop and reported officer shooting were barricaded in a house in southeast Colorado City for nine hours, according to reports.
Just after midnight, officials made entry into the house and arrested the three men without incident and transported them to the Mitchell County Jail. The identities of the three men have not been released.
