Texas woman dies on Oklahoma highway

Frankie L. Foster, 24, of Wichita Falls, Texas, was driving southbound on U.S. 81 when she crossed into the northbound lane and hit a tractor-trailer hauling 70 head of cattle, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.

A Texas woman died after a two-vehicle collision on U.S. 81 in Jefferson County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported. About 8:15 a.m., Frankie L. Foster, 24, of Wichita Falls, Texas, was driving southbound in a Jeep about a mile south of Sugden. The Jeep crossed into the northbound lane and hit a tractor-trailer hauling 70 head of cattle. Foster died at the scene. The truck driver, Clarence E. Myers, 61, of Iowa Park, Texas, was not injured, troopers said. Both were wearing seat belts.
