City Rescue Mission Thanksgiving banquet

• Where: 800 W California Ave.

• When: Thanksgiving Day

• How to help: Volunteers work in the kitchen, serve meals and visit with guests as table sponsors.

Edmond Community Thanksgiving dinner

• How to help: Volunteers will help by serving food, waiting tables and washing dishes, among other duties. The dinner is free and open to the public.

• Where: Nigh University Center at the University of Central Oklahoma, 100 N University Drive.

• When: Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
