BEST SIGHTS

Escalator rides and cheerleaders. The morning started with TCU mascot SuperFrog taking in USA TODAY's sports section while casually leaning against the railing of the escalator, and the Baylor mascot Bruiser riding down the elevator with a flip cam strapped to his head. As for the cheerleaders, the Iowa State ones were adjusting their outfits, their uniforms, their everything in the reflection of the glass of the hotel bar.

BEST PRESSER

Mack Brown stole the show, before the other shows even had a chance to perform. Following the Texas coach into the print room was an entourage of cheerleaders: Baylor, Iowa State, Oklahoma State, TCU and, of course, Texas. There were no Oklahoma cheerleaders.
