If you have at least 80 pounds to lose and aren't afraid of a lot of hard work, “The Biggest Loser” may be looking for you.

NBC's hit weight-loss show will hold auditions for Season 15 contestants in Oklahoma City from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Plaza Mayor at the Crossroads, formerly known as Crossroads Mall, 7000 Crossroads Blvd.

“I'm looking for someone who's charismatic, who is passionate and has the burning desire to lose the weight and keep it off,” said Randy Bernstein, the show's supervising casting director.

“It's one thing to lose it, it's another thing to keep it off and continue training, continue eating right.”

He said casting directors will be looking for contestants with a “laser focus” in their eyes who are ready for a challenge.

The show has featured many Oklahomans in past seasons, highlighted by Broken Arrow's Danny Cahill winning Season 8 of “The Biggest Loser” in 2009, losing 239 pounds and taking home the $250,000 grand prize.

“My dreams are back and I am ready to take on anything life throws at me,” Cahill told The Oklahoman after his 2010 win. “Every day, I thank God for ‘The Biggest Loser.'”

Cahill made the challenge look easy, but the workouts and lifestyle changes are far from it, Bernstein said.

“I think I should have gone on Netflix and re-watched a lot of the past seasons because I just didn't remember how difficult it was,” Sapulpa police officer David Jones told the Tulsa World during his stint on season 14 of “The Biggest Loser.”

“There is a lot of excitement about this. It's an adventure. I was looking forward to doing it and forgot how really difficult it looked on television.”

Jones was voted off the show after an injury but finished the season having shed 102 pounds.

Oklahoma City police officers and twin brothers Dan and Don Evans lost a combined 256 pounds during their time on the “Biggest Loser: Couples” season 11.

Allie Ishcomer, of Moore, and Lisa Mosley, of Norman, competed on Season 10 of the show.
