The breakdown: Oklahoma players to watch

5. Quentin Chaney The Oklahoma receiver languished on the depth chart the past four years, but after last year's Fiesta Bowl, the former Tulsa Washington star could become a Sooner standout.

4. Oklahoma State running backs No single Cowboy is going to replace Dantrell Savage. He was just that good. But it's going to be fun to see what Kendall Hunter (above), Keith Toston and Co. can do.

3. Keenan Clayton The Oklahoma safety turned linebacker has been talked up in the preseason the past two years, then failed to produce. Perhaps he's found a home at linebacker.

2. Tonga Tea The Oklahoma State defensive tackle has one of the best names. Now, what about his game? The Cowboy defensive line needs to step it up, and Tea needs to lead the charge.

1. Jimmy Stevens Or is it Tress Way? Whoever sticks as the Sooner kicker could be the difference between a good season and a title. The pressure is on an already pressure-packed position.
