The man who's name is attached to the Dreammaker Tour has been helping quarterbacks realize their dreams for years.
Steve Clarkson has tutored some of the best in the game, including Ben Roethelisberger, Matt Cassel, Matt Leinart and Jimmy Clausen.
But who is Clarkson?
He was a record-setting quarterback playing for Jack Elway, John's father, and Dennis Erickson at San Jose State in the early 80s. After brief stints in the NFL and the Canadian Football League, he got into the restaurant business.
Clarkson only became a private coach after his aunt saw a newspaper ad looking for a coach.
His first client, Perry Klein, became a record-setting high school quarterback and was eventually a fourth-round pick in the NFL Draft. Word of their relationship spread, and so did Clarkson's reputation.
He opened a quarterback academy in Pasadena, Calif., and has been tutoring quarterbacks ever since.
"What Steve does," Southern Cal starter Matt Barkley told ESPN the Magazine a few years ago, "prepares you for the league."
