In an interview with The Atlantic Wire published today longtime Flaming Lips member Steven Drozd acknowledged that the band, which is based in Oklahoma City, knew next to nothing about the "Ender's Game" franchise when they were tapped to contribute to the film's soundtrack.
"They sent us the very last scene in the movie—and the ending credits so we could at least musically try to connect the end of their movie with the piece of music we were working on," Drozd told The Atlantic Wire. "And then some lyrical ideas. And really that was it."
