By 1:40 p.m., Medford in north central Oklahoma had reached its high temperature, so far, for today — 36.1 degrees, according to the Oklahoma Mesonet.
At that same time Watonga had reached a high of 36.9 degrees and Lahoma of 37.1 degrees.

Unseasonably cold conditions will spread across the region today. High temperatures will struggle to climb into the 40s for most locations. Wind chill values will remain in the 30s this afternoon as the air warms up slightly and winds diminish.
