Wildlife officials trying to simplify the licensing process for hunters, fishermen

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation sells 100 different kinds of hunting, fishing and trapping licenses and permits.

Duck hunters have it the worst. They must possess a state hunting license, a state waterfowl license, a federal duck stamp, a HIP (Harvest Information Program) permit and before July 1, a Legacy Permit.
