Beautiful football was not on display often on Saturday in Stillwater and Lawrence.

From Guerin Emig of the Tulsa World: Trick play saves the day for the Sooners.

Fort Worth Star-Telegram writer Stefen Stevenson said TCU’s offense showed up late to the party … again.

Rustin Dodd of the Kansas City Star said another coaching decision backfired in Charlie Weis’ face.

OSU receiver Josh Stewart has evolved into a superstar, says Nick Snow of the Stillwater News Press.

Andrew Gilman of FoxSports.com said, yes, both OU and OSU were winners on Saturday, but both were exposed under center.

Kelly Hines of the Tulsa World said Stewart’s game-changing plays went against Cowboys protocol. Our own Berry Tramel had similar thoughts, saying Stewart was the best player on the field because of those plays.
