'The Music Man' runs through Sunday at University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond

“The Music Man,” presented by Summerstock Productions in partnership with the University of Central Oklahoma, will run through Sunday on the Edmond campus. There are three performances this weekend.

“The Music Man” will continue through Sunday at the University of Central Oklahoma.

“The Music Man” follows fast-talking traveling salesman Harold Hill as he cons the people of River City, Iowa, into buying instruments and uniforms for a boys' band he vows to organize. His plans to skip town with the cash are foiled when he falls for the town librarian.

Lane Fields plays Hill while Melissa Griffith stars as librarian Marian Paroo.

Summerstock Productions, in partnership with the University of Central Oklahoma, is staging the musical theater classic at UCO's Mitchell Hall Theater.

Remaining show times are at 2 and 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday.
