Thanks to the Norman Transcript, who interviewed me recently about the 15th anniversary of my comic book shop, Speeding Bullet Comics, and also noted my newspaper column and award-winning Nerdage blog. You can check out the entire article by Doug Hill at The Norman Transcript web site.

Doug also broke a bit of news that should interest local fans of indie comics – Speeding Bullet is crafting an independent comics anthology that will feature the work of several Oklahoma and Oklahoma-connected writers and artists: myself, artist Jerry Bennett (“Nadir’s Zenith”), writer Sterling Gates (“Supergirl”) and artist Natasha Alterici (“Lucid”), among others.

Above, you can see the first piece of art from “Speeding Bullet Comics Presents” No. 1, which is intended for a spring 2014 release.   More details will be released as the project moves closer to completion, but it’s exciting to finally have the news out there after quite a bit of time working on this project.
