Check out Property Lines, my real estate blog.
Yes, real estate.
Not random observations and comments on all manner of public affairs. Not theological reflection.
Not philosophical ruminations, what book I'm reading, where I am, what I'm eating, where I've been, what cigar I'm smoking, where I'm going, how I feel, the continuing saga of the hapless and nonambulatory Bailey the Wonder Dog, and pictures of Avery Noel, the cutest and grandest baby in the whole wide world. Plus a little real estate.
That's my Facebook page, www.Facebook.
And not just links to my stories and commentaries and some of those of my colleagues (and an occasional picture of Avery Noel. Did I mention that she is the cutest and grandest baby in the whole wide world? She just turned 3 months old!)
That's my Twitter account: www.Twitter.com/
Nope, my blog, Property Lines, is about real estate — residential and commercial. Construction, development, sales, leasing, land, houses, apartments, retail, industrial, office, architecture, finance and whatever else they come up with.
Oh, not all at the same time. But eventually, I'm sure — if y'all help.
Come by and check out Property Lines. Bookmark it. Subscribe to a feed that sends you a link whenever it's updated, which will be a lot.
See, I'm a blogging fool. A handful of you know I had an anonymous blog, from 2004 until — well, it's still out there, but dormant. I didn't blog once in a while; it was more like I forgot to blog once in awhile.
Property Lines won't be quite so intense because I'm pretty good at keeping me time and work time separate. But there is just so much stuff to talk about in the real estate business, and the real estate way of life, as lots of folks see it, I cannot imagine not having anything to blog about.
It helps that I'm a bull shooter from way back. In fact, my first weekly column, back in the day for The Daily O'Collegian at Oklahoma State University, was called “Bullshooting.” That was 25 years ago. Imagine if I'd had the Internet. I might've called it “Bullblogging”!
That's the best way I know to describe the difference between news reporting and blogging: Reporting goes in The Oklahoman and on NewsOK. Blogging about the news goes on the blog — because blogging is shooting the bull about the news, not just reporting it.
So come by and let's shoot the bull about real estate news: Property Lines.
