PLAYER OF THE YEAR

JORDAN HENRY, SOUTHMOORE

Class: Junior

Position: No. 1 singles

The story: Henry was spectacular this season, losing only twice en route to a Class 6A runner-up finish. She dealt eventual champion and Southern California signee Madison Westby of Tulsa Kelley her lone loss of the season in regionals before losing the rematch.

KAT ALLEN, HERITAGE HALL

Class: Junior

Position: No. 1 singles

The story: Topped Deer Creek’s Kelsi Williams for third place in Class 5A, while helping the Chargers to a third place finish in the team scoring.

KELSI WILLIAMS, DEER CREEK

Class: Senior

Position: No. 1 singles

The story: Finished fourth in Class 5A after falling to Heritage Hall’s Kat Allen in the third-place match. Was named All-State after helping the Antlers to a fourth-place finish.
