As expected before the season began, Class 3A looks to be loaded with several top teams that can compete for the state title.

The top seven teams in the class remain undefeated, with several impressive wins among them. Blanchard knocked off a Newcastle team that was off to a hot start, and Kingfisher rolled past 2A rival Hennessey. Seminole and Metro Christian each came up with lopsided wins over talented 4A opponents, McLoud and Broken Bow, respectively.

Hilldale’s win over Beggs flipped the two, with Hilldale entering the poll and Beggs dropping out. Heritage Hall, despite its challenging schedule, fell to No. 10 with its second straight loss by more than 30 points. Still, those losses have come to Clinton and Davis, teams ranked No. 2 in their respective classes.

Here’s The Oklahoman’s new Class 3A top 10:

1. Blanchard, 3-0 (1)
