The Class 4A rankings saw plenty of movement, but no new faces in the top 10 this week.

Preseason No. 1 Clinton had fallen to third, but moved back up to No. 2 with an impressive 39-6 win over Heritage Hall on Friday, combined with Douglass’ loss to Class 2A No. 1 Millwood on Saturday. Anadarko and Cascia Hall both moved up after their solid 2-0 starts.

The bottom few spots of the top 10 held steady. No. 8 Broken Bow suffered a loss to Shiloh Christian, a ranked 5A team in Arkansas. Weatherford’s game against Duncan was called off because of severe weather.

And Glenpool’s defeat to Cascia Hall wasn’t worthy of punishment in the poll. But a few teams, like Poteau, McLoud and others, are knocking at the door, ready to stake a claim in the top 10.

Here’s The Oklahoman’s updated Class 4A poll:

Rank, Team, Record (Prev.)
1. Wagoner, 2-0 (1)
2. Clinton, 1-1 (3)
3. Anadarko, 2-0 (5)
4. Cascia Hall, 2-0 (7)
5. Douglass, 1-1 (2)
6. Ada, 1-1 (4)
7. Fort Gibson, 2-0 (6)
8. Broken Bow, 1-1 (8)
9. Weatherford, 1-0 (9)
10. Glenpool, 1-1 (10)
Dropped out: None
