The Oklahoman's Class C rankings: Shattuck makes another big move

Shattuck started the year at No. 10 in The Oklahoman’s Class C poll, mostly because other coaches were speaking highly of them. Turns out those coaches were right.

With the Indians’ only loss coming to unbeaten Class B No. 1 Laverne, they have made their way up the top 10 over the course of the season, and made their biggest jump this week.

After handing previously No. 3 and unbeaten Sharon-Mutual a 38-14 defeat, Shattuck jumped up to the No. 3 spot in this week’s poll, while Sharon-Mutual dipped down to No. 5.

In the only other move this week, Timberlake returned to the poll in place of Sasakwa, which struggled to get past Maud.
