The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City adds retailers, including Loft, Columbia Sportswear and Kenneth Cole

“I am very excited to be opening in Oklahoma City,” said Kerry Barnes, vice president of retail for Columbia Sportswear. “As an alum of Oklahoma Christian University and a member of its Board of Trustees, I know the importance of being part of that community and what Columbia will bring to Oklahoma City.”

100 percent leased

The 348,600-square-foot outlet mall is 100 percent leased with more than 90 retailers, including restaurants. Popular retailers include Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th, Coach and Nike. The site has attracted additional new retail, with a Mathis Brothers Sleep Studio expected to open Saturday just west of the mall and a BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse planned for a site just southeast of the mall; BJ's is expected to break ground this fall and open in the summer.

The Outlet Shoppes at Oklahoma City has exceeded its sales expectations since opening last summer. From August 2011 to May 2012, outlet mall sales were more than $112.6 million, according to city records.

This is also the first time the project developer has expanded a property so quickly, said Jessica Herrera, manager for retail development and recruitment for the Greater Oklahoma City Chamber.

“It's been truly phenomenal what we've seen there,” she said.
