A new season of Fox’s Animation Domination debuts at 7 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29 with premiere episodes of “The Simpsons,” “Bob’s Burgers,” “Family Guy” and “American Dad.”
Summaries of the episodes, provided by Fox, are as follows:
“Homerland” is the milestone Season 25 premiere episode of “The Simpsons,” airing at 7 p.m. In a nod to the hit cable series “Homeland,” Lisa (Yeardley Smith) suspects that Homer (Dan Castellaneta) may have been “turned” when he returns a changed man from a nuclear power plant operating convention. So she enlists the services of Annie (guest voice Kristen Wiig), an intense, jumpy FBI agent to help her unravel the truth.
On the Emmy Award-nominated “Bob’s Burgers,” (airing at 7:30 p.m.). the Belcher family goes on a camping trip to make up for the one Tina (Dan Mintz) couldn’t attend with her Thundergirl troupe. But things quickly go from bad to worse when they discover that Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) didn’t bring any food or supplies in the “A River Runs Through Bob” Season Three premiere episode.
Next, at 8 p.m., is the Season 11 premiere episode of “Family Guy” titled “Finder’s Keepers.” Peter (Seth MacFarlane) is convinced that a restaurant placemat is a treasure map. Word quickly spreads about the alleged cache, sparking a city-wide search and turning the citizens of Quahog against each other.
The Season Eight premiere of “American Dad” titled “Steve and Snot’s Test-tubular Adventure” airs at 8:30 p.m. In the episode, Steve (Scott Grimes) and Snot (guest voice Curtis Armstrong) turn to the CIA’s cloning machine to churn out two willing ladies for the upcoming high school prom. But when the device produces two uber-fast-growing newborn babies, the boys must break out their fathering skills to ready them in time for prom night.
