The Sooners' stories of perseverance

The perseverance of this Oklahoma women’s basketball team is well documented.

The Sooners have won despite the loss of the Paris twins. They have excelled despite the injury to Whitney Hand. They have made it all the way to the Final Four despite all of their difficulties.

But the resolve of these players goes beyond what they’ve done on the court. These Sooners have personal stories of perseverance. There are tales of financial woe and devastating injury. There are experiences that explain how this team has overcome adversity.

The players already knew how.
