The time for OU's Willie Warren’s is now

/> There are no Texas Techs in the NBA. It’s a sink or swim league, and young, talented players grow exponentially against the world’s best.

The Thunder’s Russell Westbrook is a prime example.

Westbrook admitted some people last spring told him he needed to stay in college.

But Westbrook had the talent to compete in the NBA, and though his skills aren’t Warren’s caliber, they have improved remarkably month by month in the NBA.

Again, if Warren enjoys the college life and wants to spend another year on campus, bully for him.

But if his decision is based strictly on what’s best for his basketball future, the answer is clear.

Get to the NBA as soon as possible.
